YOUR TASKS

Interface Management is responsible for supporting the department, the PMO, and project management in defining project-specific requirements and ensuring that all interfaces—technical, commercial, and otherwise—are effectively managed.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing Interface Management processes, including the creation and maintenance of an IM system and providing clear operational and practical guidelines.
  • Designing, updating, and managing the Interface Management (IM) tool to ensure all scope and information exchanges at interfaces are effectively planned and controlled.
  • Facilitating and ensuring the implementation of the IM tool for daily interface management activities and processes.
  • Organizing and conducting interface workshops to align stakeholders and resolve issues.
  • Coordinating engineering activities between sub-packages and other packages in close collaboration with Work Package Managers and Operational Interface Managers.
  • Managing emerging engineering issues promptly to minimize disruption and support smooth project execution, including identifying critical interface issues and tracking them through resolution.
  • Supporting contract negotiations by clarifying technical scope and contractor responsibilities at interfaces.
  • Executing tasks in compliance with all relevant HSSE, QA, consent, certification, permit, and technical requirements.

REQUIREMENTS & YOUR EXPERTISE

  • Master's degree or diploma in engineering or comparable qualification
  • Fluent English and German skills (at least level B2)
  • Reliable knowledge of interface management processes and tools
  • Quality management know-how
  • At least 3 years of professional experience and comprehensive knowledge in the field of crossdisciplinary engineering and project management
  • Proficient in standard PC software, particularly MS Office
  • Successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the EU, along with the outlined qualifications
