YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an Offshore Platform Interface Manager (m/f/d) to start in February for a large offshore grid connection project. The service is scheduled to be provided from now until the end of January 2028. The position is 50% remote and 50% based in Berlin. Occasional travel abroad (e.g., Dubai, India, Denmark) may be required.
The aim is to support the technical project manager and package managers in coordinating all technical aspects of project implementation and to take on the technical supervision and coordination of engineering services.
Tasks may include:
- Coordinating engineering services between sub-packages and other packages in close cooperation with the sub-package managers and specialist engineers
- Developing and maintaining interface management tools (e.g., interface registers)
- Supporting contract negotiations and contract drafting
- Monitoring project processes
- Providing a technical overview of the various packages
- Providing technical reports and tools for decision-making during development
- Developing and maintaining a project-specific interface toolbox from design to commissioning, including interface matrix, equipment liability plan, and recording of interface issues
- Identifying critical interface issues and associated risks
REQUIREMENTS & YOUR EXPERTISE
- English language skills at least at C1 level
- At least 8 years of experience in technical coordination and interface management for offshore wind farm projects (including planning and execution phases)
- Experience working on international projects, ideally in the field of renewable energies
- Experience in contract negotiations, contract drafting, contract interpretation, and interface responsibilities
