Your tasks in this role will comprise of but by no means be limited to:
- Project Engineer for installation of inshore/nearshore sections of grid connection systems, including shallow water section cable installation and cable pull-in into prior installed ducts
- Support the Project Manager in all matters relating to package execution, i.e. planning and controlling of package scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and HSE
- Review of contractor-provided work method statements concerning cable logistics, handling, installation by means of shallow water barge incl. vibro injector & chain cutter, shallow water offshore jointing operations by means of jack-up barges and pontoons, duct/tunnel pull-in operations
- Coordination and integration of nearshore cable installation scope in line with contractual requirements re scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and HSE
- Integration of nearshore installation scope including surveys, boulder removal, dredging, post lay remedial works, seabed reinstatement, infrastructure crossings etc.
- Along with contract management work towards conclusion of crossing agreements third party infrastructure asset owners and ensure adherence to contractual conditions by EPC contractor
- Manage nearshore part of EPC contract and coordinate EPC contractor including its subcontracts
- Coordinate document review for all nearshore section-related method statements provided by EPC contractor
- Ensure proper interface management with onshore as well as offshore cable installation
- Development of concepts and tender documents for services of the relevant work packages
- Technical review and evaluation of offers and participation in negotiations for relevant work packages
To be considered for this role your experiences will include the following:
- Experience with CPS design, installation
- Experience with scoure design/CPS interaction
- Full awareness of CPS O&M risks, failures, lessons learned other projects.
- Network with CPS suppliers, awareness pros/cons each supplier
- Completed studies in a relevant field, e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering
- Minimum 3 years of proven project experience as project engineer specifically with shallow water installation technology for HV submarine cables including anchored barges, vibro injector, chain cutter
- Experience with shore pulls into HDD ducts or comparable
