YOUR IMPACT

For an offshore substation project in the German Baltic Sea, we are looking for a Commissioning Expert in Secondary Systems (m/f/d)

Your range of tasks includes:

  • Ensure quality assurance of secondary systems per contract scope using internal QS processes.
  • Oversee supplier activities during installation and commissioning.
  • Enforce client requirements in daily operations based on contract documents.
  • Report daily progress and coordinate on-site activities with internal/external teams.
  • Identify and address HSE non-conformities, contributing to system improvements.
  • Participate in commissioning, troubleshooting, reliability testing, and documentation.
  • Manage snag lists with suppliers and verify technical documents for acceptance tests.
  • Support partial/final acceptances in factory, shipyard, and offshore.
  • Document commissioning progress, safety patrols, and compliance with HSE/QA procedures.
  • Monitor and coordinate permit-related requirements and updates

WHAT SETS YOU

  • University degree in electrical engineering (Master or Diploma).
  • 5+ years of experience in integration and testing of components and devices in electrical systems, preferably onshore.
  • Knowledge of specific rules and regulations, e.g. DIN VDE, IEC, Onshore Codes DNVGL).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and abroad as well as basic onshore suitability.
  • Experience in LV-cabling and onshore instrumentation wiring for protection and control technology.
  • Experience in carrying out commissioning of secondary technical components / signal tests.
