The scope of action of the HSE surveys project manager covers the tender and implementation phases. Depending on when he/she is mobilised, he/she could be involved in the entire process. This is a very cross-functional position, as it supports all projects in the development phase (or even the implementation phase). He/she could also be involved in the heritage survey phases corresponding to activities in the O&M phase, the aim of which is, in particular, to detect any outcrops of high-voltage cables on the seabed following sedimentary movements.
Your responsibilities in this role will include the following:
- Is the HSE contact between the project teams and the service providers involved in the survey operations,
- Ensures that the HSE specifications set out in the contract are applied to each project,
- Carries out HSE visits to vessels in consultation with the relevant batch leaders and writes the associated inspection reports,
- Reviews all HSE documentation defined in the Contract prepared by the main and subcontracting companies involved in the surveys,
- Participates in all risk analyses (HIRA) and, when necessary, in the analysis of HSE events,
- Ensures the selective sorting and monitoring of waste generated during the survey phases on board the vessels or on the landing sites,
- Participates in and facilitates emergency drills (safety and environment) if necessary
- Ensures the relevance of the technical content of the General Coordination Plan(s) within the framework of the 1994 decree or prevention plans for areas subject to the 92 decree,
- Participates in weekly and/or monthly progress meetings for survey contracts,
- May take part in CISSCT meetings and prior joint inspections when they exist,
- Collects information from service providers to produce monthly reports on HSE indicators,
- Ensures regular internal HSE reporting to the HSE business manager of the relevant façade,
- Prepares the HSE sequence for project reviews with the HSE business manager,
- Supports the HSE business manager if necessary,
- Participate in calls for tender concerning survey operations (document review, participation in technical presentations, etc.),
- Informs the HSE databases and ensures that they are regularly updated,
- Uses and saves documents on the HSE DIIReM computer network in order to make the information available,
- Participates in the preparation of cross-functional documents (DIIREM Safety/Environmental Info, memos, etc.),
- Participates in the cross-functional actions of the Health, Safety and Environment division,
- Participates in the updating of the DIIREM HSE specifications through feedback.
The mission requires a weekly presence (minimum 3 days per week at Window or on site)
The mission is planned for 1 year (with possible extension of the mission according to the needs)
To be considered for this role your experiences will include the following:
- Ideally, a 4/5 year university degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in the HSE field including OFFSHORE (profiles without offshore experience will be systematically rejected)
- Fluency in English and French required (written and oral)
- BOSIET or equivalent for interventions at sea on ships
- Strong ability to adapt to fit in with the various project teams in place
- Resistance to stress, ability to react to possible accident
- Writing skills
- Communication and listening skills to carry out missions successfully, integrating the multicultural dimension and the organisational complexity inherent in this type of project
- Holder of a valid driving licence
