YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Engineer Service for geophysical and geotechnical surveys and data management
- Consult the Project Manager in all matters relating to package execution, i.e. planning and controlling of package scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and HSE
- Review of contractor-provided work method statements concerning geophysical and geotechnical surveys
- Review of contractor-provided work method statements for cable installation scope with regards to all survey related topics such as mobilization, sea-trials and calibration of offshore spreads
- Consult other package disciplines in survey-related matters, i.e. boulder clearance, UXO, Pre-Lay survey, PLGR & other preparatory activities
- Coordination of survey scope in line with contractual requirements re scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and HSE
- QAQC of contractor-provided survey data and integration into company data-base
- Supervision of survey works carried out by third parties in the course of cable laying onshore and offshore.
- Supervision of dredging work in the area of cable routes as well as work in the area of offshore storage areas and onshore discharge ponds
- Project related reporting to and coordination with package management
- Development of concepts and tender documents for services of the relevant work packages
- Technical review and evaluation of offers and participation in negotiations for relevant work packages
REQUIREMENTS & YOUR EXPERTISE
- At least 10 years‘ experience as a hydrographic surveyor and several years’ experience with GIS and data management
- Several years of experience in the acquisition of geophysical and geotechnical data in offshore areas, as well as in the investigation of explosive ordnance
- Very good knowledge of English (at least B2)
- Very good knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS, QINSY, MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel
