YOUR IMPACT

  • Coordination of all package related tasks and interfaces. Cooperation with other work packages and departments (purchase, O&M, logistics, etc.) and the most relevant stakeholders (partners, permitting authorities)
  • Preparation of technical specifications and technical evaluation of tender documentation
  • Evaluation and commenting of design documents, documentation and design decisions and recommendations
  • Identification and optimization of technical risks and monitor that the works has a safe and efficient construction, installation, commissioning, testing and O&M phase
  • Implementation of all technical audits and inspections during the construction process and for technical support for the installation, commissioning and O&M experts
  • Management of subcontractors and -if required- further experts within the packages
  • Stay informed of the HSE system and the procedures relevant to the function as well as to work in accordance with the requirements de-fined therein
  • Obliged to react on observed nonconformities to the written procedures and to contribute to the improvement of the system
  • Stay informed of the QA system and the procedures relevant to the function as well as to work in accordance with the requirements de-fined therein
  • Support the creation of the component specific inspection and test plans (ITPs).
  • Work to optimize the Control systems design during the FEED stage of the project -taking account of through- life costs and technical risks.
  • Approval of basic and detailed design of the (EPCI) contractor in order to achieve compliance with the specifications and thus assurance of delivery of stable and robust platform systems.

WHAT SETS YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (minimum 5 years of professional experience)
  • Experience with HVAC systems, valve cooling, and waste heat utilization, ideally on offshore platforms
  • Coordination of interfaces with departments, stakeholders, and authorities
  • Preparation of technical specifications and evaluation of tender documents
  • Analysis of design decisions and mitigation of technical risks
  • Conducting technical audits and managing subcontractors
  • Knowledge of HSE and QA systems, as well as the creation of inspection and test plans (ITPs)
  • Optimization of control systems during the FEED phase with consideration of life cycle costs and technical risks
