YOUR IMPACT

For an onshore underground High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission line project, we are seeking a Project Engineer – Onshore Cable Routing (m/f/d)

Your range of tasks includes:

  • Technical Planning Management – Oversee logistics areas, traffic safety, HDD, and pipe jacking
  • Change Process Oversight – Monitor and prioritize changes based on the time-distance diagram in coordination with the construction site
  • Stakeholder Coordination – Interface with intersection partners and construction authorities
  • Quality & Compliance Monitoring – Ensure construction companies meet the requirements and planning approval decisions
  • Routing & Interface Management – Supervise routing service providers and coordinate environmental planning, right-of-way, subsoil investigation, archaeology, and other expert assessments
  • Alignment & Planning Oversight – Develop rough and fine alignments, manage implementation planning, and oversee construction activities, including change management
  • Conducting coordination meetings on the alignment with public bodies and other stakeholders
  • Preparation of the documents required for planning approval in accordance with Section 21 NABEG
  • Prepare test specifications, review service provider deliverables, and contribute to quality and risk management
  • Preparation of the tender documents for the planning and service scopes including participation in the awarding process

WHAT SETS YOU

  • Completed studies in an engineering degree, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, surveying technology or a comparable field of study or a successfully completed technician training in the field of civil engineering
  • Professional experience in the field of route planning
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems at high and extra-high voltage level
  • Experience in the preparation of design and implementation planning from high-voltage cable technology projects
  • Knowledge of the technical installations of HVAC/DC high and extra-high voltage cable technology
  • German language skills (C1) and good written and spoken English language skills (B2)
  • Willingness to travel domestically
