YOUR TASKS

  • Support in the planning, design, awarding and subsequent management of pre-construction measures (subsoil investigations, archaeology, etc.), queuing up to empty conduit installation (open construction method) for the HVDC onshore underground cable link
  • Monitoring, assistance and support of the approval procedure in the context of the NABEG
  • Support of the owner's project team, management and control of its service providers/contractors
  • Development of strategies and their implementation for planning, awarding, logistics, quality assurance of work packages
  • Steering of the preparation of related tender and contract documents
  • Communication and assurance of project interests towards internal and external stakeholders, in particular representation of the project in public events and towards authorities
  • Active control of the project to achieve the program and project objectives (in particular HSE, time, quality, costs)

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Completed studies in an engineering field of study, such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, surveying, geology, geophysics or comparable fields
  • Willingness to occasionally visit construction sites and travel between Schwerin and Hamburg
  • Fluent in German (C1) and good English (preferably B2), both written and spoken
  • Sound experience in the execution of projects for the planning and realization of onshore infrastructure projects (preferably line structures such as cables and pipelines)
  • Technical knowledge of onshore line construction and experience in dealing with technical authorities
  • Project management experience, knowledge of project management methods as well as experience with working in interdisciplinary teams
